How articles here are researched, written, updated, and paid for.
This page describes how content on Solo Ops Lab is produced so you can judge how much to trust it.
Who writes here
Every article is written by Paschal, a solo online operator with hands-on experience building an audience, shipping apps, and selling digital products. Read the full about page.
First-hand experience over summaries
We prioritize things we have actually done: tools we pay for, launches we ran, mistakes we made. When an article relies on outside research instead, it says so and lists sources at the end.
Sources and citations
Claims about rules, fees, and features cite primary sources (official documentation, government pages, company pricing pages) in a "Sources" section. We avoid citing other blogs as authorities.
Updates and corrections
Articles carry a publish date and, when revised, a "last updated" date. We review high-traffic articles at least once a year and whenever a tool or rule changes materially. If you spot an error, contact us; corrections are made promptly and noted in the article.
Use of AI
We use AI tools for research assistance, outlining, and editing. The experience, judgments, and final wording are the author's. We do not publish unreviewed AI-generated articles.
Advertising and affiliate links
The site is supported by display ads and, occasionally, affiliate links. Advertisers have no influence over what we write. We only include affiliate links to products we would recommend anyway, and we do not accept payment for reviews or placements.
Not licensed advice
Nothing here is licensed financial, tax, legal, or accounting advice. We write from an operator's perspective, not a professional adviser's. Please consult a qualified professional for your situation.
